Van parts FAQs

Which vans do you cover?

Every mainstream UK LCV — Ford Transit and Transit Custom, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and Vito, Vauxhall Vivaro and Movano, VW Transporter T5/T6/T6.1 and Crafter, Renault Trafic and Master, Peugeot Boxer, Citroën Relay, Iveco Daily and more.

Can I get parts for a high-mileage Transit or Sprinter?

Yes — high-mileage vans are exactly what our breakers specialise in. Reconditioned engines, rebuilt gearboxes, injectors and turbos are typically in stock for Ford 2.2/2.0 TDCi and Mercedes OM651/OM642.

Do you supply commercial bodywork and load-area parts?

Yes — side and rear doors, sliding-door rollers, load floors, bulkheads, racking, roof racks and ply-lining are listed alongside mechanical parts.

How quickly can I get a van back on the road?

Most small parts ship same-day for next-working-day delivery. Engines, gearboxes and panels move on pallet networks within 2–3 days. Critical downtime requests are flagged to local yards for fastest fulfilment.

Is there a fleet or trade account?

Yes — fleet operators, body shops and independent garages can open a trade account with consolidated invoicing, priority quoting and bulk discount tiers.

Do you stock parts for electric and hybrid vans?

Yes — we cover the main UK electric and PHEV LCVs including Ford E-Transit, Mercedes eSprinter and eVito, VW ABT e-Transporter and ID. Buzz Cargo, Vauxhall Vivaro-e and Movano-e, Peugeot e-Boxer and e-Partner, Citroën ë-Dispatch and ë-Berlingo, Renault Kangoo E-Tech and Master E-Tech, Maxus eDeliver 3/9, and LEVC VN5. Low-voltage parts (12 V electrics, body panels, suspension, brakes, doors, lighting) cross over with the diesel variants; high-voltage parts are listed separately and only sold to qualified buyers.

Are EV van parts compatible with diesel versions of the same model?

Body panels, doors, glass, interior trim, seats, wipers, lights and most suspension and brake components are shared with the ICE versions of the same generation (e.g. E-Transit shares panels with the Transit, Vivaro-e with the diesel Vivaro). Driveline parts — motor, inverter, reduction gearbox, HV battery, on-board charger, DC-DC converter, charge port and HV cabling — are EV-only and not interchangeable. Always match by VIN before ordering.

What are the high-voltage safety rules for buying EV van parts?

High-voltage (HV) components on electric vans operate at 300–800 V DC and can be lethal. HV parts — traction battery packs and modules, inverters, motors, on-board chargers, DC-DC converters, HV cabling (orange) and HV junction boxes — must only be removed, handled and refitted by IMI TechSafe / IMI Level 3 or 4 qualified EV technicians using insulated tools and PPE. We supply HV parts only to VAT-registered trade buyers with documented EV qualifications, shipped in approved packaging and (for batteries) under ADR dangerous-goods rules.

Do you sell EV traction batteries and battery modules?

Yes — used HV traction batteries and individual modules are available for E-Transit, eSprinter, Vivaro-e, eDeliver and others, subject to state-of-health (SoH) testing. Each pack is reported with capacity, SoH%, cycle count where available and any DTC history. Batteries ship pallet-only under ADR UN3480/UN3481 with hazard labels; delivery is to trade addresses only and the old pack must be returned for recycling under the UK Batteries Regulations.

What about 12 V auxiliary batteries, BMS modules and charging hardware?

12 V auxiliary (LV) batteries, battery management system (BMS) control units, on-board chargers (OBC), Type 2 AC charge ports, CCS DC inlets, charge-port locking actuators, HV contactors and pre-charge resistors are all stocked. LV batteries and charge ports ship to any customer; BMS, OBC, contactors and HV-side modules are trade-only and may require coding/pairing to the vehicle VIN after fitment.
