The story of SEAT
SEAT (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo) was founded in 1950, building Fiats under licence to motorise post-war Spain.
Joined the VW Group in 1986; today SEAT and its sporty Cupra sub-brand share MQB and MEB platforms with VW, Audi and Škoda.
Ibiza and Leon are SEAT's UK volume sellers, and Cupra has launched the Born EV and Formentor SUV-coupe.
