• 1Confirm the exact vehicle: make, model, generation/chassis code and registration date - facelifts often change part numbers mid-cycle.
• 2Match the OEM part number from the old unit where possible. Ask the supplier to cross-reference it against the offered part.
• 3Check trim and option packs (e.g. M Sport, S line, R-Line) - these can change brackets, sensors and looms.
• 4Halogen, xenon and LED variants use different looms and ballasts - they don't swap directly.
